We carried out an assessment of each of Kazakhstan’s Sedimentary Basins to establish hydrocarbon reserves and resource inventories for all fields and identified prospects in these basins. The study was based on data collected from producing fields, regional seismic assessments, and regional geological studies.
The basins covered by the study included: Pre-Caspian, Ust-Urt, Mangyshlak, Turgai, Chu-Sarysu, Syr-Darya, Balkhash, Alakol, Eilliski, Teniz, Zaisan
