We implemented an assessment of drilling and production systems used in the Gulf of Mexico and other world wide locations to provide input to the Client’s program to explore and produce oil and gas from its own deep-water acreage. We worked on concepts for a number of deep-water projects specifying optimum production systems and developing type IV cost estimates for exploration and development. A critical issue was the establishment of costs for drilling exploration and development wells in ultra deep water – we used our NetCo$ter system as the basis for providing this information.
